ok ok, clearly i didnt sell the subject, and am useless at cryptic clues etc. :smirk:

the issue i have, is that my clutch has started slipping intermittently when giving it sum beans, between 2.5k and 3k 3rd gear upwards, however it doesnt always do it!

and i've noticed occasionally when releasing the clutch doesnt always seem to bite straight away (very brief delay, not slipping....possible release bearing?).

ive had my car from new and has done 118k so was half expecting it anytime soon.

so my question is, what are my options for upgrading the clutch (want a remap soon)

but i still want to have a smooth drive round town and a relatively light clutch pedal! ;)

Having browsed briefly, is there an upgrade option that doesnt involve single mass and all the characteristics of it?

Where is best to get said parts from and how much?

thanks for your time, andy

Mine is doing a similar thing (86k), but has now been fine for the past few days.

I'm basically going to wait until it won't bite anymore, then simply go with a new OEM plate when the time comes.

If you're only going with a remap, is there really any need to upgrade beyond standard?

If you're in Mansfield, why not come along to the meet tonight?
