Hi! I've got a 4 year old Fabia (54,000 miles) which has started to suddenly miss revs for no apparent reason. Nothing seems to cause this especially; it seems to happen in any gear or at any speed. So far, they've immediately picked up again and there are no warning lights but it's a bit alarming and seems to be getting worse. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Thanks.

Petrol, desiel? Might be helpful. Could be a misfire or something? Mine does it sometimes when cold, for about 10 seconds, but then is fine again after.

Thanks, Triggerfish. It's petrol and seems to do it more when the engine is warm!

Fuel vaporisation maybe? I thought it was more prevalent on classic cars, but just the way you said it happens when the engine's hot.
