Fabie Rear Seats Stuck

Featured Replies

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me, my right rear seat is stuck (the narrow one) and the rear seat belt is behind it and probably somehow blocking the mechanism opening. I pulled the release catch really hard and it popped and appears broken. Now I can't release the seat or retrieve the seat belt which means I can't put a childs seat in it. Is there anyway I can release it another way?

Thanks for any help

This happened to me, was under warranty at the time so skoda took it in to fix... worked great until 6 months after warranty ran out and happened again.

Seems the connector rod for release catch inside the seat is made out of plastic so really its ****e.

Only way i can release the seat is to get behind it with a screwdriver and release it manually.

Bad bad design, plastic wears out :(
