Just finished my first Fabia II cruise control (on a 1.4 TDi). Quite a long job, took just over three hours (which is the book time for it) involves a lot more dismantling than a Fabia I. I used the offical Skoda kit and everything clicked in and worked as it should. Owner very happy with the work, and worked first time which is always a bonus

No, different switch gear that needs to be pinned and the scuttle, wipers, bulkhead panel all has to come out and drill a hole into the engine bay for the loom to come through, you do however drill through the plastic panel that the main loom comes through so its all neat and tidy and water proof
