Throttle Actuator

Featured Replies

Hello all,

New to this so be patient if I am asking a daft question.

I have an octavia 2.0tdi mk2 and the throttle body is jammed open, not to much of a problem as the car runs perfectly well.

The part number stamped on the offending part is 038 128 063c and having searched the net I ordered a used one.

The number stamped on the one I received is exactly the same as the one fitted to my car but they are most definitely not the same thing.

Mine is fitted with 3 bolts through a triangular base, the one I got has 4 bolts on a square base and a different connection for the manifold hose.

My question is how do you know which one to actually buy? Isn't the part number unique? One dealer said I needed an 038 128 063 M.

Welcome to Briskoda.

Not sure on your query I think the best idea is to post in the Octavia 2 section.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome.

Is the part number exactly the same on the new part or is the end letter different?
