Parrot MKi 9100/9200

Featured Replies

Hi has anybody used this parrot kit, apparently as well as being a bluetooth kit it comes with a lead for connecting ipods, usb drives etc. Is it any good. I know it does not show up on head unit screen but at a far lower price than an MDI & OEM bluetooth kit its a damn sight cheaper.

I have a 9100 bill, its pretty good , had a lot of trouble with the control unit but seems ok on a different battery , it runs an i pod or usb ok and sound quality is fine

Does it charge ipod as well ?

Does it charge ipod as well ?

Dunno mate to be honest , dont use 1 , i just loaded a few albums on a stick and that does me .

I've got an MKi9000 and yep, integrates with the radio and charges your iPod/iPhone. I've not tried to control many of the functions of the iPod from the Parrot remote, and I can't use the native voice commands on the iPhone, but it does the job nicely. If you have the MFSW for phone, it may be possible to connect the Parrot control box to that for better integration.

No dont have MFSW. But have also found this http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-alpine-ex-10_p-23165.htm which although not very OEM or integrated is designed for ipod, has a remote that gives full ipod use (on supplied screen) has bluetooth and can be plugged into the auxillary connection. And is only £40.
