Depends where and when. Weekend in the day we are usually reasonably ok. I am away until after the 15th Nov. But would only probably be a flying visit from me anyway.

I know there's been York meets at the Hopgrove pub but not for ages and ages.

Maybe if you pick someone on the West (ie nearer to A1) side of York it might seem to be more acccesible to people.

As for dates ... just set a poll up with a few suggestions (allow multi-choice voting) ... then pick the most popular

Just been having a look West of York off the A64. Ye Old Sun Inn, Colton nr Tadcaster looks a good bet. Big car park and good reviews. Bit of a gastro pub by the looks of it but that ould hint towards good ale. Have a look here >>Sun Inn<<

How about Sunday December 12th at 3pm? Call it the Christmas meet?

There have been a number of posts in the Facebook Skoda Karoq Owners Group recently related to the appearance on the infotainment screen when starting the car of a message about Data Tracking. I too have had this but it has now stopped. Then a new longer message referring to EU data protection and sharing - that was the gist I think as I didn’t take a photo and it’s no longer being displayed. I think I may have “OK d” both messages and that perhaps stopped them being displayed. Any way leading o

Adding this for anyone that comes across the same issue. Noticed a slightly extended crank a day or so ago, along with a few seconds worth of poor idle and then ran as normal. Checked for codes, and none showing. Checked plugs when I got home again and all ok. Checked the lpfp count and was at or around 50% at idle. No hesitation or misfires and none detected on scanner. Rail holding pressure within parameters and both lpfp and hpfp showing requested and actual pressures where they should b

Hello, recently my air conditionor kinda stopped working. In the morning or in the evening everything works just fine, normal operation. In the middle of the day, being hot outside (30 to even over 40 degrees outside temperature), when i start the car, for 10-20 seconds everything works, after that a noise like a buzz starts to hear from around the middle of the car. The fan for air conditioning and heater on my 2006 Octavia Mk2 L&K is not working. I have checked the fuses and they are OK. Does it have a relay that might have failed? I am hoping it is not the fan unit itself, as this seems to be peculiar to RHD models with climatronic and was discontinued by Skoda in 2022. (Part no. 1K2 820 021).

Hi All, We've got an issue with the electric boot (the version without the virtual pedal). It's a 70 plate that has been owned by us from new. From when it was a few months old, the boot will not open intermittently. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's opened by the button on the boot itself, the button in the driver's door or the button on the key fob. Essentially it can be heard unlock, then makes a loud beeping noise, as if obstructed, then locks itself again. It's been to t
