Hi Everyone

Bought my first Skoda Fabia about a year ago it is on a 53 plate. Never thought I would - I was impressed by the way it drove even if it wasn't a very pretty example. Since then it has done well except needing new front suspension bushes; it is currently registered to my son. On the strength of this my daughter in law has bought one also. Not quite such a happy tale - this is why I've joined - along with a lack of detailed knowledge of the Fabia, though we've had a VW Passat in the family for some 11 years and there are many similarities. I've been driving and sorting cars since I was heavy enough to work the Clutch/Brake pedal on a pre WWII Fordson Tractor - happy days.

The jury is still out but, I am beginning to think that Skoda are starting to show VW how to make cars
