Suspension Geometry in the North East?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Was in a car park yesterday and noticed that although the outer 4/5ths of my rear tyres have plenty of tread the inner couple of inches is worn way way below the marks (and I also now understand the "sawtooth" descriptions from other posts!). Am going to get some new tyres on this week, but can anyone recommend anywhere in the north-east (Newcastle or above) that could check and amend the geometry to help avoid this in the future?

I used Tip Top Tyres, just of Scotwood Road.

Full laser alignment setup, £45 quid to do

Thanks, presumably the revised settings are still those mentioned below? Did Tip Top need them or were they already in their machine?

yep...mine was exactly the same. ruined a set of rear tyres. Lowest camber setting my rear would take is 1.6° since i have eibach springs

it was over 2° per side. The biggest killer is the rear toe. My rear wheels were toed out.
