Back after a little break !

I think it was august the last time i visted here !

I have an interesting scenario at the mo, and not entirly sure what to do. My current car is a 1995 Omega Elite 2.5 TD auto. A lovely car indeed, however we are swapping my car for a Grand Scenic, but the wife will run it on a daily basis. So this means i have the joyful pleasure of running our Volvo 850 T5. Now since i have last posted i have managed to finish the car. As a standard car i had in mind a compleate package, i.e modifications to the wheels (17" replacement) suspension (short shocks/lowering springs) brakes and performance upgrade !

Well thankfully i have compleated all of the above within 12 months of ownership. so i am very happy. However i have never used this car as a daily car because of the teens fuel consumption, 6000 - 7000 range on front tyres and 5000 mile service intervals (insisted by myself).

This makes my 18000-20000 miles p/a quite costly. But the car is not worth as much as i bought it for 12 months ago, but i spent half again on mods. So basically i will give the car away when i sell it !

So there it is. The car only requires servicable components, and is a joy to drive. But is probably double the cost of running my choice hatch of the moment the Skoda Fabia RS. But, of course i would need

keep it and buy a banger. bought my nova for

btw have had to decent victories in it so far, beaten some chavs in both escort GTi and golf(IV)GTi, can't have a been a turbo though. should've seen they're faces :D

and yes, they were trying

I used to have a T-5 but sold it back to my old man after 6 months as it was a bit scary on the tyre front!! It was originally my Dads co. car so it's been in the family since new (1994). Now done well over 120k miles with no major problems to report. Still goes like sh 1 t of a shovel and that 5 cylinder motor is great. Costs about
