Rear Door Protection

Featured Replies

Has anybody noticed that the shape of the rear doors (the corner where the panel foms part of the wheel arch) does a good job at hitting other cars in car parks?

I've got quite fed up with having to put my hand over the corner (while getting stuff out of the back of the car) to protect other cars , so I've just bought some horrible plastic covers to add some protection.

I just dont like dinking other peoples property, so I am wondering if anybody else has come up with the same conclusion or done something different to protect other cars?

Its not a problem on the front doors because the plastic protector does the job, but the protector only goes over part of the rear doors, so leaving the widest part unprotected.

Most of the cars I've had suffer this problem, BMW's, Octavia etc, but not so much my 3 door Polo.
