Featured Replies

Drives nice, one thing that I did notice is the mpg calc showed 313mpg at one point while it was getting used to my driving. 313! Wow!

Was that the instantaneous MPG or the average? :rubchin:

Dunno, how do I tell? I just saw 313 and mpg.

There'll be an option where the mpg jumps from around 10 when accelerating to up to - - - - when you foot is off the throttle, then flick one to the left (up on stalk) and that will be the average mpg, which the instantaneous mpg figure affects overall. ;)

Off the top of my head - the average display has a

I probably looked at the instant one then. Colin, how did you do that? Photoshop your best friend?

It seemed to like the figure around the 40 mark at the mo, but then I've got to get used to it.

It's honestly not photoshopped at all, I just started at the top of a very big, hill in my town, let it roll all the way, no acceleration so I did about 2-3 miles without touching the accelerator! After that it was plane sailing, stopped when I got back to the house!

sounds about right.

Ok' date=' picked it up!

It's Sahara Beige. Options added on at new were aircon, asr and I think door mirrors were an option in 2001.

Think door mirrors are standard fit on most cars these days ;):D

Glad you're enjoying the car and I have a complete Elegance beige interior trim set if you feel your car is too dark..... although if you've seen the beige in a Fabia, you'll know why I got rid of it

Yeah, the beige interior looks like someones chucked a load of sand into the car, sorry!

The interior is a blue colour. Looks ok, seats could be more supportive really.

Took it out for a drive, it's so refined over the bumps, pulls well up hills, wind noise is low, and embarasses a nova-boy in his 1.4sr. Loved the look on his face.
