Led devil-eyes-headlights

Featured Replies

Quite a few on here have had some bad experiences with Superskoda.

The lights look quite smart, almost OEM. Not sure intergral LED DRL's would suit the pre-facelift though.

In fairness I've had numerous orders from S/skoda-no probs of any kind to date, touch wood. Quick delivery to Ireland, too.

If you look carefully I think you might find they are lhd only :|

Is that not just for MK1? I thought there was a way of converting the Octy II headlights anyway, for driving in Europe in a RHD car-surely the reverse is possible? :wonder: I think theres a "how-to" on here somewhere to do it.

Could be right - I've just had another look at the site :S

There is something about them that doesn't look right somehow

I personally would want to see a picture of them fitted & working before laying out that dough-I hope they don't look like those poxy stick on LED strips..... :D

I can't believe the state of the car they are on in the pictures. Looks like it's just driven through a swamp!

Here here! :giggle: They look a bit aftermarket to me, now the integrated ones on the lower grill now that is a different story.

They are LHD only, its been discussed before. The adjustment to get them to RHD is not enough to satisfy UK road regulations on a permanent basis. All the adjustment does is flat beam the headlight. What that means here in the UK is that the left side of the road will not be illuminated the same was as a correct RHD headlamp, roadsigns will not be illuminated for example. All the adjustment is designed to do is prevent dazzle when in a country that drives on the other side. Its the same when we go abroad and adapt our UK lights except in reverse. The LHD headlights even when flat beamed will fail a UK MOT because the beam pattern is incorrect.

MAS-looks like you'll have to buy a LHD Octy to go with your lights

Isn't it fantastic to be able to get this advice before making a ****-up!

Given the choice I think these look better!

Could be wrong but i think you could get a mot pass with a flat beam, the reason i think this is i am into sport bikes and they mostly run a flat/ parallel beam with no probs, And my gixer thou just went through a mot as did my ktm and they have flat beams? but i personaly think they look gash anyway.
