Can't get my blackberry to reconnect to the car

Featured Replies

I had my Blackberry (BB) connected to the car using rSAP, but it won't connect now. I've tried reconnecting it bit it never accepts the BB again.

  • Search for a device, finds BB

  • Asked to enter something like 5555 6666 7777 8888 on the BB.
  • Enter the digits
  • Get asked to accept a BT connection from SKODA_rSAP
  • Accept connection on BB
  • Skodia is still saying enter digits and never moves on

Is there any way to remove the user profile it set up the first time I connected? I think it might help is I start with a clean slate.

Anyone else seen this? Or can someone tell me how to get around it?

I have the same issue... had my Torch connected once... and never again... :(

I had the same issue in my Octavia. I ended up having to delete my 'profile' for my phone, and set it up again from scratch.

The problem is, you can't get access to the profiles unless you have a phone paired and currently active - chicken and egg come to mind here!

My workaround was to borrow a friend's phone, and pair that. With it actively connected, I went to the MaxiDot options - Phone, Bluetooth, Profiles. I selected my old profile and deleted it. While you are in that menu, you may as well delete the 'temporary' profile.

Then set up your pairing again with your own phone. It should succeed.

Good luck.

I was hoping that I didn't have to find another phone to do it with. #FAIL Skoda

Thanks for the advice.

I've got a Nokia e51, which connects without fail - i can re-connect it, delete the pairing of the BackBerry, and Nokia - but I still cant get the BB to re-connect.... gonna update BB software over weekend and re-try it next week...
