these ones are in poor condition but have new tyres on he has offerd a straght swap for mine if i want so what should i do is it a good deal

yes...the pics speak for themselves. a refurb will sort them out when u have funds, and it also sorts out ur tyres issue?

RS4s - timeless classic wheel design.

I'd deffo go for it

Assuming the RS4's have winter tyres on then fine, otherwise I'd stick with the A3 wheels as I very much doubt the RS4's are genuine Audi.

genuine or not 99% of people wont check, and they still do the same job...look 100x better than the a3's which could also be as fake...anyways, this is a pointless swap unless its a BLT

Do it, a refurb will be less than 4 new tyres, you could even DIY refurb for even more cost savings.

The Rs4s, are you going to put the 16s back on ebay then?

If the whole point of getting the Audi alloys was to fit them with winter tyres and the 17s come with winter tyres in the correct size (205/40/17 or 215/40/17) then its a cracking deal. If they come with normal tyres and you want to fit winter tyres then you need to compare the prices (and availability) of those tyres. Personally, if its for winter wheels with winter tyres I'd prefer the 16s - cheaper on tyres and easier to keep clean.

if i do the swap then i will buy winter tyres for my std alloys and use them for winter and in the mean time get the 17inch ones refurbed ready for summer and keep the summer tyres that the 17 come with

If they are genuine Audi then have them refurbed in the correct colour (Avus Sparkle Silver) and run them for a bit. If you get bored of them then you can always sell them for a good £350-£500 depending on the exact part number.
