Hello...

Just bought myself, today!! an Octavia vrs, and I can say I'm extremely happy

I owned a farily modded dc2 before this until 3 months ago was written off by someone going in the side of me. After 2 months of not being able to drive and then 1 month of trying far too many cars lol came across this one in a local garage. Took one drive in it and decided it was the car for me

Have no plans for it as yet, but will have a search around this site and just see what are the better mods to do without going overboard. Remap will probably be the first on the cards.

Being a big Skoda fan, I joined Briskoda in 2008, I have always promoted Skodas as my companies first choice engineers car primarily the Superb Estate. And they have always been reliable and capable. We therefore had no worries when one of our employees opted to go fully electric with an Enyaq 85X Sportline contracted via VWFS. Upon delivery it was soon apparent the heater did not work. Hello everyone I decided to update my 2014 Skoda Octavia to a newer age. First changed the MIB1 to MIB2, and then decided to add a rear view camera (there are other projects on the way like MFK1 to MFK2). I want to tell the story so someone else does not make the same mistakes I did. Hi, I brought a 2012 Skoda Fabia in May 2026 and the air circulation button (i think) when you press it or turn on aircon which automatically turn on it makes an awful banging noise Has anyone had this issue and know what the solution is (other than leaving off) Also the passenger electric window will open on passenger switch but close only on driver (is that common?) cheers

Octy 2 1.4TSI ESTATE CAXA Quite uncertain where to enter this question. The keyfob#1 has started to cause serious problems with the car alarm system. So far keyfob#2 is working with no problem. Car alarm starting randomly and only disconnecting the battery helped. Yesterday the alarm kept sounding/flashing even when the engine was running - undrivable. Is there a home cure whereby I can remap/reset the key fob? My very helpful auto sparks is unable to help

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Basically the car continually tries to phone home and drains the battery, the tailgate control module is acutely sensitive to voltage meaning that if the car has sat for more than a day (sometime less) th
