Featured Replies

hello, my name is Michael, I have a face lift octavia 2 new (300 km ), I go to service to activate some functions with vdcs, all went ok but the big problem came from comeing leaving home, they appear in the maxi- dot, but does not work, what can I do? thanks

Hi Michael

Welcome to briskoda.

If you look around the Octavia 2 you will find a solution, I Think it may be a setting that the dealer has to set in ECU to activate in maxidot

Mine only work when it's dark enough. IE in daylight they do not work. I think this is usefull because i can see the car and my house.

When it's dark enough CH and LH work fine

Hi

The headlights have to be in the "On" mode all the time for LH/CH to work.

make sure you switch the light on before you start the engine the first time otherwise the ECU gets a little confused, we will know it works when you don't get the Beeping sound that indicates the lights are on when you open the door and that the lights are still on when you switch the ignition off.

Good luck.

If you have auto lights (the little tunnel symbol on the light switch) then your CH/LH lights will not work unless it is dark enough for the light sensor to detect this. If you don't have auto lights then they should work everytime you turn the ignition off with the light switch on, and open the car using the remote control key.
