Locating a Demonstrator

Featured Replies

I'd like to test drive a 1.8T and 2.0 CR Scout.

Is there an easy way to find out which dealers are running which demonstrator cars?

I know I could phone them all up but wondered if there was a central database that would let me know where the cars are.

You could try looking at the local dealers stock on skoda's website.

I did a quick national search for used cars on there and no where has a cr unit or a 1.8

That's what I did to get a drive in a Scout before ordering one.

Skoda do a dealer list, bit of a trawl but if you are prepared to spend the time you will find the car you want to try, probably find one in any colours you want to look at, remember s/hand cars on the lot are good for this & also you can gauge which salesmen are prepared to do a deal on price.

I spent a whole afternoon on the phone, found a s/hand scout to drive, handy to gauge build quality after a few thousand miles & found Scouts the 4 colours I wanted to look at. having chosen the colour & spec I knew which dealers were prepared to do a deal so got the car I wanted at the price I wanted

Go to Skoda UK website and book it on line.

I did it a couple of years ago with a 1.8TSi and they sorted it through my local dealer and i had the car for 3 days.
