does anyone know how to remove the horrible standard window winder handles?? on a fabiaVRS

I've only watched someone else do it, but the trick seems to be to expose the collar between the handle and the trim panel, and slide the collar out sideways to remove it from the winder shaft. This then gives access to the back of the handle, which can then be removed. HTH.
