Have an 08 Reg Fabia Estate 1.4 (spec 3) diesel.

Some numpty has taken great pride in kicking my mirror while parked and has broken the glass. The mirror is a heated one so would need a replacement rather than a stick on over the top mirror.

Any clues where to get one on the cheap and any advice on removing a broken mirror and replacing it?

They attach by way off an circle with like claws which attach to a smaller circle inside housing , I would normally get replacement glass from a dealer but somewhere like Euro- Parts might have a " Pattern" one

i bought off ebay - took the opportunity to fit octy style anti-dazzle blue-tinted heated ones - grood idea, except the wiring on one side need to be lengthened (nothing too severe) but the glass also didn't quite fit the plastic backing frame properly

so ebay is an option, but the fit may not be perfect!

Try GSF. They might do VAG stuff!
