I have a rear wiper on my Fabia and to be honest it's pathetic and I'd manage just as well without it Worth investing in some Ombrello (check the group buy section) which will cause the water to bead and run off...

Mide has rear wash wipe and it's pretty good. Having moved from a hatchback to a Saloon I missed it so glad to have it back on me new Octy

Advise me on this please. I've just checked the brochures I've got and can't see rear wash wipe as standard or optional on any grade of new Octavia.

I'm missing something here obviously.

They'll be the doctored pictures in the Brochure, notice there is no fuel filler cap either or even door.

Look at the picture on page 8-9 the actual picture of the Silver Octy on the road in the rain you can just about make out the rear wash wipe, plus point 3 of the text states it's there.

I think it's standard equipent in Elegance and Optional in Ambiente (maybe also Classic).

In the UK a rear wash-wipe is standard on all new Octavia hatchbacks.

I'm driving a courtesy poverty-spec 1.6 Octy hatch at the mo, 54 reg, and it has the rear wash wipe. So if this does I'd think most if not all of them will.

I've got the bottom of it. (Sorry !! ) I'm in Spain--the specs are all to hell over here.

No bidet, no high stop light, but fogs and different toys within.

UK Spec Ambiente (IIRC) at the MotorShow 2004.

Saw one on the road today...definately had rear wash wipe.
