pretty much, once you've got it off the car spin it over and you'll see it all clips together just be carefull not to break any clips/lugs when taking it to bits :thumbup:

i soaked my chrome bit in asda strong bleach for a couple of days to remove the chrome plating, then sanded, plastic primed and painted black :thumbup:

lol, you can just sand it down and paint but i dnt no how long the paint will last. the chrome coating is a nightmare to get off i tried using a stanley knife and peeling it off but gave up with that, and bathed it in bleach :thumbup:

PS is it just them 4 torx screws to take the whole thing off first ? .....my haynes etc hasnt arrived yet ?!

if I remember correctly, there are two metal brackets that need removing too... (think they have standard 10mm heads on them)
