I think i explained wrong ! the parts i mean are the plastic covers that go on the top of the side panels on the pickup, mine has been a cube van and where they should be the removable back would have been sat on the side panels so as to not require them

Skoda's part name is "protective strip" - exactly the same as for the door/side panel ones, unhelpfully. I don't know if they're still available new, but VAGcat seems to suggest they'd be around £150 each if they are. :o

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o .Looks like ill have to put the top back on it.Thanks for your info

that sounds about right, about £130 each, and they are no longer available to buy new from skoda along with most of the other body panels

My pick up was a cube van in a formerr life! I painted the top face black and bought some edging trim from ebay for 15quid or so. I'll send a link over the weekend, got to go to work soon.

I know the back one was about 70quid when I de spoilered my Fun.

just for reference, the side ones just pull on/off and they are really tricky to get off without bending them.. the one on top of the tailgate is bolted on from the inside, you have to remove the cover plate from the inside of the tailgate to get to the nuts

Any tips on how to take them off? (pull which way etc)
