i have a 2002 octavia tdi with steel wheels i have bought original alloys off e bay do i have to change original wheel bolts or keep the steel wheel bolts ........................

Yep, the wheel bolts are the same for steel/alloy wheels.

It depends whether your alloys require flat faced nuts.or domed. Usually steel wheels require domed face nuts, but a lot of alloys require flat face nuts. Get it wrong & it's very dangerous!!

They are original Skoda alloys, and the part number for wheel bolts is the same for Skoda steel or alloy wheels.

How much did the set of alloys cost, and what are you doing with your steels?
