Hi Guys

Ordered a Octavia VRS with a few extras on 7th May 2010, still no new car! Order keeps slipping with no explanation by dealer or Skoda UK other than high demand!!

Today I have been told my car is built, has a chasis number and is at the port in Emden! Only another 3 weeks to wait for it to get across to the dealer and have a PDI!!

Anyone else experienced 31 week lead times, as this will turn out to be, for a VRS?

Should I seek compensation for this?

Hello everyone! I'm writing you from Italy, i found out this forum that seems a great place full of usefull information so i tought i should join and ask directly! My GF has a MY20 Kamiq, one of the first delivered in the country, and has an ancient 0156 software that never got updated. Fuse for glove box light?

The light in the glove box has stopped working. I know the bulb is okay, and I’ve used a multimeter across the contacts on the connector which is showing no voltage at all. Going through the list of fuses, the glovebox light fuse is not listed separately or even as a part of other lighting. It would be useful to know the correct fuse and if any other items also tie to it, since everything else works fine and it can narrow it down to the switch. Thanks in advance!

I got just the new software version 1989. Curious what's it is gonna bring. Already satisfied with 1985 but i love gadgets and up to date materials. One thing from the beginning with software 1969 til now mine park to pay or pay to park still not working. But i am not using that anyway to prices of parking are ridiculous. So i hope this one is even better then 1985 we will see.

Driver's window starting to 'tap' - regulator issue ?

I pressed and held down all four window switches the other day when I put the dog in the car from the kennels. I don't know if I've over-strained something by holding the driver's button down for 2 seconds too long, because there's a feint tapping noise now and the auto function has stopped. Do I just try the 5 second reset trick or have I knackered something?

Dear Experts , Can anybody advice me what is the part about i.e side airbag or earthing ? This part is located near seat belt tensioner ( passenger front side on pillar of car,) two images are attached for info, image1 from YouTube shows big connector connecting two wires bit unclear picture, 2nd image is taken from my car shows some kind of adapter (843 ) not sure what it is connecting which is different from 1st image , not sure if any connection has been missed out to it is earthi
