Hello everyone, its been a couple of years at least. I was so pleased to see the Mods hadn't wiped my account! they must have known something I didn't.

I had an 05 Fabia 1.9 Tdi Elegance last time I was here but fell out with it as I got a real 'friday model' lots of issues.

But the little fabia was dear to me in so many other ways I have finally taken the plunge and here I am.

I am about to take ownership of a 2007 1.2 HTP 2 model. Don't know how I'll live with the drop in power as my current car is a BMW 528i. Still I'm retired and at an age where some think I shouldnt be driving lol!! so the improved economy, ins group and servicing costs will help soften the blow. I hope to pick the car up Monday, just waiting to have my number plate transferred. I'ts Orange with the grey and white interior and has covered only 14k and I loved the test drive. Will let you know how I get on with it when I've driven it a while. Nice to be back to Skoda.
