Hi all.

Been lurking on this forum for a while thought it was time to say hello.

Bought a Skoda Octavia PD140 manual 2010 model which was an ex demo with only 5 miles (85 km) on the clock.

Picked it up exactly a week today (60 miles later) and my verdict so far is: very nice car with a feeling of much more expensive car (paid just under 19K Pounds normal price was almost 25K and is reasonable priced here in Australia compared to other European cars).

So far I like everything about this car which says a lot since I`m a motorbike man (my rides: R1, 1340 B-King and DL650).

Appreciate to be able to use this forum for my newbie questions and its helpful members.

G'day! My wife's an Aussie - from Brisbane actually. I've been to Sydney, Melbourne and Tassie, but never your neck of the woods. The Mrs says Brisbane would be too hot for her now that she's been in Scotland for so long sounds pretty good to me.
