Vauxhall Corsa C

Featured Replies

I bought a new crew cab combo Corsa van this time last year.

It's such a shame that they can't manufacturer them properly, as it really is a stonking little...ish thing.

So far the steering wheel air bag 'squib' has had to be replaced with a modified one, to stop the clicking noises.

Seat frame had to be replaced to stop incessant clicking and clonking, but now the rh side 'wing' supporting bar has snapped and burst through the foam.

Vauxhall have known about this problem on the 'sports seat' out of the Sxi for years apparently. and yet another modification is going to be fitted.

Finally, I am currently waiting for a 4th clutch and master cylinder assembly to hopefully finally cure the clicking sqeaking pedal.

All just another set of reasons whu I love jumping into and driving the Fabia so much I guess,

No. I haven't got the foggiest why I posted this on the Fabia board either!!! :o

Please feel free to transfer it into the general car chat section which is where I meant to post it..

Apologies

In my experience, Corsa C's are godawful cars... :o

One of my friends has a corsa C - 2005 (facelift) with about 90k miles on the clock now, been ragged everyday for almost a year, about 40 - 50 miles a day to work and back etc.. only had one problem which turned out to be a petrol leak?

oh and well... the rear demister doesnt work because he snapped the connections off "De-Wipering" it...

i cani say nothing bad bout the corsa c's i had a 13 diesel remapped an it got dogs abuse from the moment i got it an had no bother with it at all, in fact i wish i still had it at times lol had to replace heater plugs but that was the height of it an probably due to my way of drivin it lol

I had a 53plate 1.2 SXi from 2007-late 2009, just before I bought the vRS. Never really had any trouble with it; the only trouble I did have was with CV joints, because it was so low (probably over 100mm lower than standard), and the water pump broke. That's it lols, and that was over 30k miles of driving. I know the lad that bought it off me too, and he's done 10k since then again with no troubles! They're not as bad as people think...

Don't know about Corsa C, had a Corsa B from new and put 190,000 miles on it. Had a taste for glow plugs but was good car apart from that.
