Finally advertised the Octavia on AT this pm and had a call off Marlborough Skoda straight away. They have an offer I'm pleased with and tempted to sell to them but just wondered if anyone had any experience with them regarding selling them a car?

Skodas are expensive to buy in the trade at the moment, you can get quite a good price as a part ex on most late Skodas at the moment.

I'm pretty certain I'll go with them as it makes settling the finance easier. Just need to see when my new one arrives.

You say I should get good part ex prices but I kept getting offered £2k under Marlborough offer when I tried to part ex it. Still good to hear skoda is retaining its value.

I must say after buying my 56 Octy from auction how suprised I was at how strong the prices were compared to Maxda 6's, Avensis etc. But not much can touch the Octy in it's class for fuel economy, so in this trubled economic times it's no wonder really.
