battery box?

Featured Replies

ive noticed on a few vrs they have a complete cover for the battery, mines got a fairly open top with some like plugs and wires going to it, looks a bit of a mess, any ideas?

The earlier ones had the full box, but as the tops kept on breaking they went to your design around 2005.

I didn't know it was because the lids broke - I never had any problems with my 2004vRS.

I do find it odd now on my 2007vRS having all these "open" components on top of the battery really exposed to the weather every time you open the bonnet - seems a curious move - why put all those items there rather than somewhere less wetable? (rhetorical question - answer not expected)

yes my thoughts exactly! when u lift the bonnet usually after washing i might add, it drips from the grill onto the battery terminals and those connectors. tom.
