brakes caliper - help please

Hi.

yesterday I was changing brake pads. unfortunately rhread in nest is completly gone (reason for wibration of my brakes before), does any one know hot that part is called? the one you screw brake caliper in to.

well not that simple, yes you can call them carriers but this is combined with something else here in fabia, it has 3 arms, I would call it wheel bearing housing but I called some shops and thy had no idea what I am talking about.

MK, it is called the 'front brake calliper carrier'. For the part number you should speak to your Skoda dealer. They are not expensive and a new one can be in your hand the next working day.

The vRS bearing carrier is 114quid plus VAT so will probably be similar to that.

Crikey! that's much pricier than I expected...I paid £59 for a genuine Skoda part. Guess I'm thinking of the wrong bit. Mk, ignore what I said.
