just wondered if the top of the dash is seperate to the bottom half, i'm wanting to experiment with my dash but don't want to butcher the original one for resale reasons so i'm looking at getting a spare dash to play with.

does it come out easy enough and is the dash the same as any audi's by any chance?

Yes the top of the dash is seperate, not sure how esy it is to get off though and I don't think an Audi dash will fit, although the most likely contenders are:

Audi A3

Audi TT

VW Golf MK4

VW Beetle

VW Bora

Seat Leon

Seat Toledo

The lower trims come off but the top and middle are one part.
