For the price I got it I'm not COMPLAINING, I'm only 19 lol. Maybe a VRS in 2 Years or so.

Anyway a remapped Elegance will give you a run for your MONEY! :p

Which mine is soon to be :D

ive got a pd100 fabia elegance,

133bhp, 310ft/lbs

goes well i must say :p perfect for a 19 year old, shows all the chavvy hoodlums up anyways

I think you've got the torque mixed up mate cant be that much! :p

Now for the questions lol.

Who did you get it remapped from?

How much did it cost?

Did you see a difference in torque range i.e. does it pull more lower down in revs, and what about top end have you seen a difference?

Obviously if you could answer my questions excluding the other mods of your car.

What is this decat marlarkey about lol? different sound, peformance?

PD160 intake, where did you get this from??

Also did you change your clutch or any other mods?

And yh the chavs don't like it especially the mini coopers loool, Middle aged geezer driving a 2007 A4 tdi probs 140, I stayed up with him for a while until she gave up and he pulled away, tried to undercut me like a dikhead!

Thanks Matey

That's what a vRS tends to get when mapped by people who don't want to lunch the standard clutch. To quote Jabba's website; "Higher torque is available with an uprated clutch"

No mate he's on about the Elegance PD100 engine.

Maybe 310nm or 230 ft/lb (roughly)?

You shouldn't compare your remaped car with a standard vrs, you can get 137 bhp out of your remaped engine I HAVE 175 out of mine and some standard vrs are pushing 150 I think?

Check my Siggy ;)

PD100 mapped up should hit roughly the same as the Vrs on BHP but not too sure about tourque, we have a lot of forum sposours on here to talk to about remaps.

Shark are V.Popular at the moment, jabba are an old fav.

id probs go for that tbh, makes sense.

im only 19 so whats the hold up on the VRS?? lol

gonna say I got mine when I was 18? not expensive in any dept really. first years insurance was about biggest hit at £1100, my first year on a 1.0l Suzuki Swift Gls when I was 17 was £1400....im now 23 and pay £435 it a practical car with practical running costs but still has very respectable looks and performance... :)

Possibly money? A remapped 1.9 elegance should still go nicely. I used to have a standard 1.9 elegance before the vRS.

Yh the elegance does pull well, but I would love the extra torque of the VRS. I've driven a Bora 150bhp, very quick but I was too scared I would hit it so drove carefully lol

I bet you'd soon get used to it :-P

My remapped hybrid vRS is starting to feel slow to me already :-( Fortunately it's still on the stock turbo map, so there's a bit more for me to squeeze out of it for next year :giggle:
