Firstly, I'd like to say what a fantastic forum... I've spent the past fortnight, reading page after page of threads.

Second, I recently ordered a new Octavia (my very first Skoda :thumbup:). It'll be a 1.9 TDI PD Elegance. No options on it (it has so much as standard!) but I chose a metallic colour; Island Green (first choice was Stone Grey but the dealer couldn't get hold of one within my timeframe). I signed the dotted line on New Year's Eve and I'll be taking delivery next Friday (21st).

I can't wait to be in the driver's seat!

I started with a std 1.9 TDi Octy.... Things got better when I traded to a facelifted octy ( same engine ).

Now I drive...... ( see sig below ).

Its now even better. :)
