Boot Seal - Damp/Water Sat On It

ive noticed over the last few weeks with the wet weather that when i go to my boot their always seems to be water sat on top of the seal at the bottom

do they all do this or do i need a new seal

have to say i didnt notice it doing this last year

Washer pipe had partly come off on mine, where it pushed onto the wiper mech.

Yes :)

This parallels a thread I have open at the moment with water getting into the rear hatch somewhere. I've tried operating the rear washer and no more water comes out so I think it's actually the hatch leaking - left at present till the weekend for further investigation (I can't get the inner panel off presently) so I'll see what's up and report in case yours could be the same.
