mdi & fiscom with i phone

Featured Replies

Hi all i have been told my car is frozen for production at the factory and i have ordered the mdi option and will be getting a fiscom basic plus handsfree kit fitted as soon as my vrs arrives but i just want to check that both these dvices are compatible with the i phone. Any help would be great. Thanks

Fiscon works absolutely fine with the iPhone, I had mine fitted 4 days after colecting the car as I knew at the factory fit bluetooth (at that time0 wouldn't work with the iphone. the newer one does though and I would order that instaed of the Fiscon now as it allows proper bluetooth streaming too...

I don't have the MDI but various people on here have successfully used it with an iPhone...

Thanks a lot Raglits i just cant wait for the car to turn up now, dealer says before xmas!

When did you order yours nsno??

I can confirm that - although I ended up leaving an old iPod nano in the glovebox as it's a bit of hassle reaching into the glovebox to plug the phone in each day. A cheap 8Gb iPod sorts the problem out nicely.

on the 31st of july and just had call as i have described in another post that it will be here before xmas

i can confirm the iphone 4g works fine with MDI but displays "not compatable" message that needs closeing each time its connected

i use mine with a 1m extension bought from ebay for £15 so i can plug it in near the dash top box, i have made holes in the glovebox top and dash cubby to run the cable neatly
