If you go to the "complaints team" level, you may get closer to what you want, and then they may say they no longer want your business (when you attempt to renew) and a standard question from any insurer is "have you ever been declined insurance for whatever reason?"

Don't be greedy, you could very well regret it.

It is insurance companies for you

They will one day eventually be exposed just as the banks were, for making excessive profits stealing and lying

We have no choice other than insurance, it is the law to have it

They ask you to STATE how much the car is worth, you do this and they adjust the cost to suit

Then when you make a claim they offer you half of what you insured it for (What is that all about, You insure it for what you want back in case of an accident THEY adjust the premium to suit what the pay out costs)

Then when they do pay out, it is not a pay out It is an upfront LOAN that you pay back many times over in increased premiums for five years, a bit like LOAN SHARKS rather than insurance required by LAW

We should not pay hiked prices to cover uninsured drivers, the unisured driver should be made to pay the full costs

It was mentioned several times on here that it was a sponsor of the site, who arranged the insurance, The insurance itself is nothing to do with them, they find you the company that at the time is offering the best price in your circumstances, It is the INSURANCE company that is doing the Welshing

Interesting to see the profits of these Insurance companies, Yes there are lots of claims but nothing compared to the percentage of insured drivers (Only three young drivers insurance on this site alone would cover your £5k) any more young drivers would be pure profit

Where do I have my Pension and ISA shares ooooops sorry all claimants should be hung and settle for 25% of the insured value
