Temp part time job required.

I hate December.

My self employment job always goes dead quiet, and i feel as though I'm going out of my mind with boredom.

So, this year I've decided I'm going to TRY and find myself a little part time job for the month to bring a little bit of cash in, preferably delivering stuff, but where and for who though?

Went into a Driving Agency Recruitment place today, but the first question they ask is, HGV class 1 or 2?

Doh, neither, but I've got my own van if that helps.

Apparently not, according to this particular outfit.

Any suggestions/ideas anyone?

I NEVER get excited Bettsy.

However, I await to hear if your boss is interested in great anticipation, and thanks btw!

Much appreciated for your time trouble and interest, whatever the outcome.

2009 Vauxhall Como van btw, so quite a bit of space. ;)

'Man with van' adverts in local newsagents etc?

Seems to be a plethera of them around here. Even vans parked up in main car parks with .man with van for hire' blazoned all over the sides.

Good call though all the same.

I could print some leaflets off and drop them off locally for crimbo tree deliveries, bikes, monster turkey's even! :D

Gumtree is quite good for part time/occasional work

http://www.gumtree.com/driving-warehouse-jobs/merseyside

For example in Crosby area

delivery man for fish and chips shop wanted .friday 4.30 till 11 pm .crosby area

£30.00 a night and £1 for each delivery. must have nav man and knows the area.

Might not be ideal work, but better than the soul crushing boredom

Can't help directly but have seen adverts ni the paper for "White van man for hire".

You get van and labour for a price.

Good luck, nothing worse than being bored and skint.
