Any ideas anyone

Well, forgetting the AIR CON issues for a moment, I'd reckon that you need to sort out the alternator load sensing wiring - use the search function to find out more about that problem. After that has been sorted out and you have now charged the battery up correctly, clear all stored faults, perform basic functions on the AIR CON and see if that sorts the AIR CON problems for a while, if not then you will need to start to think about replacoing some of the AIR CON flap control motors.

Cheers for that. I think the motor flap is draining the battery. I got a new alternator march this year as we were having to replace the battery annually. After not driving the car for a few weeks in September the alternator was replaced as it failed to start the car. AA advised it was faulty as still under guarantee the garage replaced it.

On 13th Nov the car wouldn't start so I charged the battery and the next day the car was starting fine until 24th - when I used the aircon to clear the misted front & rear windows. The ABS and transction control indicators came on as well as power steering light when I tried to take off. I managed to drive as when I turned off rear window heater the ABS and transction lights went out and a few mins later when I restarted the car the power steering light went out and IT returned to normal. I think the alternator code was generated from 23rd.

After the incident on 13th I ran the code search on 17/11 and all the same codes were the same except the new alternator one. At that time I cleared the codes but still aircon is a problem as from the latest code search on 24th

What do you think?

P.

As post #2, get the load wire sorted. Once the alternator is charging correctly then the electrics will have a chance of working as they should.

Yeah i'll def speak to garage about the load sense wiring. I've noticed that the air con on the two front facing window air vents at the driver and passenger side operate when the air con is off, and set to blow up the windscreen, so i think there might be an issue there too?
