Found this site while looking for some more info on Fabia vRS. Test drove one on Saturday and am seriously thinking of putting in an order.

What sort of deals have people been able to get on new Fabia vRS's. I have got a 470 quid discount at the moment and they don't seem to keen give me more cash off.

Welcome to Briskoda, Vague. I think that some members have done better than that for discounts but have had to work hard to do so.

The Fabia vrs is in demand at the moment so big discounts will be hard to find.

You may be able to find a dealer who has the car you want instock and needs to get his sales figures up, so gives you a bigger discount.

If you are looking at factory options then you add another layer of difficulty to your purchase, discounts will be even more difficult to find.

I ordered my Fabia vRS (12250 Gbp) with Black Magic Piant (260), Xenons (500), Parking sensors (200), Cruise (125) and heated seats (125) making for a grand total of 13460. I paid 12200 for the lot including 12 months tax and a full tank of diesel.

This is about 9% off which other people have managed too. Dont be afraid to phone about and play the dealers off against each other!

Right I bought by vRS today, it has Black Magic Paint and a passenger airbag cutout switch (I didn't order this it is already on the car).

Total price should have been 12570 GBP.

They originally offered by 1800 GBP P/X for my current car, they then up'd that to 2200 GBP, so that is basically 400 GBP off.

I then hassled them a bit more a said that I could do the deal at the end of January and I would have the one that the had in the showroom (hence the airbag cutout switch), and after some arm twisting they manage to take another 620 GBP off it.

So I have saved 1020 GBP, which is about 8%, and I get my car in less than two weeks!

So in a fortnight there will be another vRS batting around West Yorkshire!
