I've bee playing in the snow and when going sideways in the fabia it makes the "ping" noise as it does when it tells you it's cold or your water bottle is low...

..Does anyone know what it is?

It also 'pings' if you try moving with the handbrake on

Its probably sensing you've got the handbrake on! and are still moving.
