Was out driving tonite and hit black ice,frontend went abit then the backend just went rigth round,resulting in the back passenger wheel hitting a Kerb fairly hard.... Wheels bent back so that it's touching the mudflap(with 17s on) :( would the hub axle have bent or would it be the whole beam?difenately not just the alloy wrecked as the spare sits off aswell.

You might be looking at a new rear beam as it sounds like it bent

thought that myself haven't really looked much at it as it snowing badly now,anyone have a rough price for a beam?

seen that there now, would there be any difference in them from 04 to 06?

theres two vrs's lying in the local scrappers but unsure of what year they both have just frontal damage...

No differences to my knowledge, as I had to replace the rear beam on my old Fabia, only one I could find was of a vRS, so used that

Didnt think there would have must take a run out tomoro and get a look at them,was it handy to change it over?

Local independent changed it for me

autodata states that it takes just ove a hour to remove the old one and fit the new one, so it should be pretty simple
