I recently ordered an oil filler cap for my Felly. Pretty small item, stick it in a jiffy bag and pop it into the post. One would think it that simple but a week and a half later I am still waiting and driving around with no oil filler cap on my car. Their phone doesn't get answered and my email query has been ignored.

That is my first and my last order with Jorily.

Generally I've found their service to be good, and when I've had problems they have been dealt with quickly, although I don't tend to use the phone. Give them another mail? Is it possible your mail has been filtered by an over-zealous junk filter?

I have just had a reply to my email - they are snowed in at the mo, so hopefully will be able to sort soon. Flaming weather is affecting everyone at the mo! :giggle:

It wasn't snowing when, and for several days after, I placed my order. No doubt the snow will be used as an excuse for the next few weeks by all manner of people.

Jorily is normally good. I think he's a relatively small operation and when dealing with thousands of different part and hundreds of orders every few days there's bound to be one or two hiccups. I believe sometimes parts are sent directly from the Czech Republic arm of the operation so may sometimes take a bit longer.

Here's the neutral and negative feedback, but as you can see the overwhelming majority, nearly 100%, is positive http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=grum1969&Dirn=Received+by&Many=ON

The reason the oil cap has been delayed is that we had stock due in last Thursday, but our stock order delivery left Czech Republic late due to bad weather over there. The delivery is now stuck in a lorry park in Germany. It is expected to leave Germany tomorrow and be with us on Monday. Ridgeback we don't ignore e-mails and we ALWAYS answer the phone, usless you ring out of hours or we are already on it.

We were closed yesterday due to the snow.

Try phoning them - I ordered something the other day (three keys and some brake cleaner) and it came within a week.

no email received. No phone call either. Can't help you if you don't make contact.

Are you sure it's not a spam blocking issue, Graham?

Thread closed - please direct any feedback to Jorily directly
