Brighter fog lights

Featured Replies

Is it possible to fit brighter front fog light bulbs in to an '04 Fabia?

If so how bright can the bulb be as I've always thought my Fabia's fogs don't seem particularly bright?

You can get brighter bulbs, I would recommend Osram All season super for the fogs as they are brighter and have a yellowish colour designed to cut through fog.

So you can blind everyone even more when going over a hill.

Just fit giant laser beams and burn their eyes out completely.

Front fog lights aren't supposed to be bright, they are aimed lower than dipped headlights and are designed to cut under the fog and improve immediate visibility.

If you want bright lights you will probably want to add driving lights, which if wired up correctly can be used to turn on with the main beam (so that they turn off when traffic is approaching).

HTH?

Brighter bulbs in fog lights will make them unusable for the conditions they are designed for (when it is really foggy and visibility has been SERIOUSLY reduced)

osram nightbreakers

Looky what we have here!

You'd be a Maccy D carpark godemoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif

osram nightbreakers

If anyone does get those be sure to get nightbreaker *plus* as the original versions last hardly any time, many people say - yes they do break at night

I would say Osram Nightbreaker plus for the headlights, Osram all season super +30% for the fogs as the yellow colour helps (plus you're only meant to have fogs on in fog, not to look cool ;)[or like a **** as everyone who sees you will think :giggle: ] )

Just need the Batman logo cutout for them now :giggle:

I thought fog lights were generally much brighter than dipped lights (similar to full beam) judging by the number of clowns I've been dazzled by who think adverse visibility means clear blue skies etc.

Is this a troll?

They do use full beam bulbs, are are going to be brighter, and if aimed badly. . .
