Decent springs that will lower Fabia vrs more that 40mm

Featured Replies

Looking for some springs that will drop my vrs by at least 45mm ideally. Only thing I have found are the 'supersport' springs from dpmperformance, they are also the cheapest suspension for sale from them so slightly sceptical.

The springs I get will be twinned with eibach dampers in feburary time. I don't know if they will make the car at all lower. Because I am swaying towards the eibach 30mm kit because I know they will go together nicely.

Thanks all

personally if your wanting springs and shocks id have the vogtland kit, ive heard a lot of good reports on them, or the koni STR kit. the eibach wont be enough of a drop for you. alternatively get some coilovers, i was in a fabia last night with KW varient 1's last nite and the ride felt standard! very impressed!

Couldent have had them wound down very low lol.

Dude if you are looking at those sorts of drops then go Coilovers.

I have just ordered a new dog bone bush from awesomegti and they sales man was telling me they have made shorter droplinks for the weitec coilovers. I think these twinned with the sleeves to stop the coils knocking will make it very good.

Think it might be time for just eibach springs until I have saved for the coilovers.

Yep :)

I have weitecs and shorter drop links, I have no knocks whatsoever.

If you go any lower than 35mm, dont expect your bump stops on the back not to split. This will mean the rear shocks will be open for dirt etc to get into it, which will damage it. Which is what it did to mine.

The only way to get a 40mm drop on the VRS would be coilovers and the Weitec kit you've put up is a very good option.

Give me a shout if you'd like anymore info.
