Do I Need 3 Or 4 Litre Brakefluid When Changing It?

Featured Replies

I "think" 3 is enough ... but what if my dealer "blunders" and need's a bit more. Maybe 4 litre is more on the safe side.. hmm

It all depends on what you are putting in.

If its DOT 5 and above you will probably need 4 or 5 litres to make sure the system is fully flushed.

If it is Super DOT 4, you'll be OK with 2 as it is compatible and the flushing isn't quite as critical. System capacity is only about 1.75l IIRC
