What is the standard mfr alarm/immobiliser?

Featured Replies

Just about to renew the car insurance and I know I'll need to know answers to the above. One site pulled up the details with the reg and tells me I have Thatcham Cat 1 immobiliser. is that right?

What about the alarm?

Thanks guys

(ps - its the standard keyfob features, nothing fancy added)

According to Thatchum documentation it is Cat 1. As it is the standard manufacturers fitting, your insurance should know that.

It is not a modification so a declaration is not required. Ask them why they require it.
