Hey guys,

For all you modders out there, I was wondering would there be any point of fitting the complete exhaust system from a Used VRS TDI onto my PD100 Elegance? It's up for sale very cheap.

Also after the remap I was wondering whether an intake manifold from a Golf GT TDI 150 will fit onto my Fabia?

If not which ones will?

I couldnt answer about the manni.

However, the exhaust, it wouldnt give you any more power, or sound. If its for looks and you fancy it then could be worth a punt if its cheap. Tho it`ll need a space to poke out the bumper. Excuse for a vRS bumper too?

Yes Matt, bumper and front bumper i'm after. But could I just fit an exhaust surround?

Oh yeah, short memory, i only just read your other post I`m sure you could get just the tip welded on easy enough, would need to check where the exhaust exit sits on yours tho.

I have it on my 100PD and yes , it does work.I have a Pipercross filter in with it

Works well with a remap too

My 100 has been been mapped to 141BHP

PD160 intake from what car? I have only seen a PD150 from a GT TDI Golf.

The 160 intake is from a seat ibiza. It`s quite pricey now though. It`s not a "must have" before a remap, an will not really give you any better figures, but will help keep smoke levels down. If you added it later then the car can adjust itself to small adjustments. I just waited till one popped up at a reasonable price.

Hi , it is a Seat Ibiza PD160

Loads of threads about it , I had mine mapped , then did the PD 160 intake

The map could go up to more , but left it a tad lower so I got lots of fuel economy as I did lots of miles per day , 148 to be precise

The same turbo and same clutch and she is on 203k miles now

I had mine done at Awesome , as I worked there

The PD intake has gone up alot since it was first found that they fit , approx £75 ish now , but can be found second hand on here , or on seat Cupra net , as they fit the Ibiza`s too

These cars are great , deffo remap and rear ARB

Hey Sarah, definitely getting the remap done, but the PD160 is soooo difficult to get hold of used, I'll have to look around a bit more.

Wanted to ask if a PD150 Intake from a Bora/Golf GT TDI could fit or is it small as well????

No , not at all

Only the 6Q chassis one

The PD150 is a 1J0 one , same as an Octavia

So only the Ibiza PD160

I agree with Sarah! Had one on my Ibiza since new pretty much. Not worth the £75 asking price, but if you can pick one up cheaper than that, then why not!
