Seat Sport FMIC

Featured Replies

Is this from the PD Cupra 160? How much and what are the gains estimated to be at? Also what cost?

And quite a few companies are into FMIC's so can't imagine the Seat Sport one to give the biggest gains...

Any help on where to get one, a guide to which is the best and the cost involved would be appreciated. I dont think enough vRS owners know much about FMIC's and the disadvantages/advantages they give (such as more noise? or reduced economy etc...), thanks!

Chris. :D

The SEAT Sport FMIC is very good, and according to the guys in the know ive talked to its a very good design.

Barry has one on his super modded vRS that hes selling (the car that is)

The intercooler itself is under

fmics always seem a bit overpriced to me for what they really are

Have you considered this company? They do a specific kit for the Fabias vRS.

Do they? They list the 'Skoda vRS' but by looks its for the Octavia.

I was thinking about this too as in the summer the furby might go into imp mode. Be interested in what you turn up chris.

I estimate gains in winter to be 5-10% and in summer 20-30% so I guess it's each to their own, getting the Milltek exhaust first.

My mate has just set up his own unit and is going to start his own fabrication work. He used to build the Hyundai WRC cars for MSD in Milton Keynes so knows his way around a welder if you get me. We will be fitting a SEAT Sport FMIC to my car and making our own pipe work, if it works out OK we wil then have a pattern for the pipes etc and make them ourselves.

If all goes well im thinking of putting a kit together for similar conversions.
