dew in brake lights... warranty issue?

Featured Replies

As title - have dew build up in brake light clusters. Has formed small droplets on inside. Car is 06 plate with 27,000 miles. warranty is till June 2011.

Would this be a warranty fix?

Both sides?

Does your rear window mist up regularly, is your spare wheel well full of water?

Could it be the lense is cracked? Over enthusiastic de-icing?

Either way, assuming they aren't damaged I'd be persuing an FOC warranty claim.

dont have the usual problems with water ingress as far as im aware... will check. no visible cracks or chips either...

SEAT's suffer with this all the time Especially the MK2 Leon and MK4 Ibiza

Unfortunately its due to the lights being made of plastic rather than glass and its something that carnt be resolved
